Dub & Grub in the Pub and The Recovery Session
at The Sprig & Fern - Thorndon, 342 Tinakori Road, Central Wellington
Let us bookend your New Year's Eve experience at the Sprig & Fern, Tinakori Road. We've got a Jamaican themed NYE pre party, from 4 til 10pm, with the legendary Pukeko Selector spinning quality tunes, a FREE BBQ and $6.80 pints! (That's proper imperial pints of delicious NZ craft beer.)
Then on New Year's Day we've got The Recovery Session, with Floorboard George playing beautiful music for the vulnerable masses. Join us from 1pm for an afternoon of strong coffee, medicinal pints, Bloody Marys and basic Scrabble. Suffering should always be shared!
Built around a solid backbone of reggae, the Pukeko Selector moves through many genres from country, jazz, hip hop, soul, pop and anything else that fits the mood for the time and the place.
