About DDog: One of Wellington's hardest working DJs. Started Bass Frontiers club night in 1999, one of the most successful regular drum and bass events in NZ. Has promoted and supported DJ Marky, Goldie, Andy C, Grooverider, DJ Hype, Pendulum, Ed Rush & Optical, LTJ Bukem, Friction and DJ Zinc. Represents the full spectrum of drum and bass, with sets ranging from the sublime and soulful to grimey, heavyweight, dance floor smashers. Long-time show host on Radio Active 89FM.
It's been a long time coming since the man known as Titts Magee was first thrown in the deep end at one of Dunedin's Drum & Bass bass nights at the legendary Bath Street. It was obvious from the start that through his raw approach and shining personality that things were rapidly going to expand and through his shear talent he went on to become one of Dunedin's biggest promoters and as a result has hosted or supported such acts as Loadstar, Sigma, TC, Logistics, The Upbeats, Cyantific, State Of Mind, Phace and TREi to name just a few.
Frederick Crew are the combined forces of Legoman, Rythmatix and Swanky. Their sound is a unique combination of liquid, deep, neuro-funk and jump-up Drum’n’Bass with a reputation for being able to smash the biggest crowds with massive tunes and upfront mixing (which has led to great individual results at New Zealand’s Rumble in the Jungle, Redbull 3Style and Future DJ competitions) as well as hold their own at day festivals, in side rooms and at pool halls.
