About Little Bushman: psychedelic rock band formed in 2006 after years of informal jamming, writing, recording together. Won bNet Downbeat/Dub Track of 2007.
From the band: "Our main objective being to explore the psychedelic influences of the late 60's and to apply lyrical content from today's affairs..(good and bad)...and to have some fun while we're at it."

About Hikoikoi: Petone-based soul, roots-reggae collective. Faves at Parihaka. Have played One Love, Cuba Street Carnival, Jackson Street Fiesta. Have toured with The Black Seeds, Cornerstone Roots.
From the band: "We hail from the mouth of the Heretaunga, at the head of the fish, Nga Upoko o te Ika, taking our name from the historic reserve and Pa site, where our studio is."

About Harbour City Electric: Wellington-based seven-piece soul/funk band formed in 2006.
From the band: "Fender Rhodes, funky guitar, soulful vocals and tight horns all backed up with a funky rhythm section creates the Harbour City sound."
About The Thomas Oliver Band: A Wellington-based 5-piece that plays blues- and folk-influenced rock. Have supported Eric Clapton, Jimmy Barnes, The Black Seeds, Little Bushman, Phoenix Foundation, dDub and Pluto. Their debut EP Every Penny was released in 2008.

About Hannah Howes: Wellington-based dub, ska, reggae singer-songwriter, originally from Dunedin. Has worked with Ecophonik, Warren Maxwell, Matt Eddy, Alan Starrett, Yair Katz, Aidan Mills, Recloose, Age Pryor, Johnathan Crayford, Imon Star, Lee Prebble. Has played Toots and Grooves Festival (Horowhenua), Soundsplash (Raglan), Parihaka International Peace Festivals (Taranaki), Rippon (Wanaka), Nelson Arts
Festival, Dunedin Fringe Festival, Destinations (Arthurs Pass), Cause (Wanaka), Kaikoura Roots Festivals, Newtown Festival (Wellington). Has toured NZ several times, independently and with Cornerstone Roots.
