Six of NZ’s best DJ’s and music perfomers over 6 crazy nights this summer!
The aim of the Base Summer Sessions is to host a variety of top NZ DJs/music events over summer. The Summer Sessions will feature a range of music genres including drum and base, breaks, hip hop and dubstep.
Tickets will be $39 for a seasons pass (all 6 shows) and there will be $10 door sales on the night. Ticket holders will have guaranteed entry before 9.30pm. The aim of the Summer Sessions is to raise awareness for Alpine Initiatives and all proceeds of these events will be donated to the charity.
The Base Summer Sessions will be a mix of ridiclously good sounds and music styles, whether you’re into fat & funky house, drum & base, breaks, hip hop, dubstep, or acoustic tunes you will be frothing on the line up we have in store....see you there!!
About Dick Johnson: Auckland-based producer, club DJ. Relocated from Blackpool to Auckland, and has strongly influenced the club scene in NZ. Has had residencies in UK clubs like Hacienda, Federation, Spice, Renaissance. Has produced and remixed a long list of releases under names Majik Johnson, Majik J, Del-5, Shaboom. Regularly tours NZ and the world. Long-running regular show host on George FM.
