at The Hub Bar, 145 Kitchener Road, Milford
The Blackout Agency Proudly Presents

Sienna Skies (Sydney, Australia)
with Advocates & As Colour Fades

“Sienna Skies are a 6-piece Experimental/Post Hardcore band from Sydney, Australia.

Since their formation in 2006 the band have proven to be an unstoppable force in Australian alternative music.

In 2007 the band released their first EP entitled “Where Joy Exists Despair Beckons” which saw the band tour consistently up and down the East Coast of Australia as well as completing a very successful tour of New Zealand including appearances at the 20,000 strong Parachute Festival.

Sienna Skies debut album “Truest Of Colours” released in 2009 went on to sell thousands of copies across Australasia and landed the band a management deal with US company Outerloop Management (We Came As Romans, Darkest Hour, Upon A Burning Body) after which the band continued touring heavily across Australia playing countless headline dates, festival appearances and international supports.

Since their formation, Sienna Skies have shared the stage and toured with such acts as: Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria, Pierce The Veil, For The Fallen Dreams, Underoath, Haste The Day, Blessed By A Broken Heart, Family Force 5, Switchfoot, The Amity Affliction and Confession to name a few.

2012 saw the band announce their signing with US label InVogue Records (Before Their Eyes, That’s Outrageous!) and shortly after inked an Australasian deal with Razor & Tie imprint Artery Recordings (Attila, Chelsea Grin, For The Fallen Dreams).

Sienna Skies released their highly anticipated sophomore album “The Constant Climb” in November 2012 following two extremely successful back to back tours playing direct support to In Hearts Wake and American post-hardcore legends Hawthorne Heights.

With the brand new record already racking up rave reviews and proving to be a hit amongst fans both old and new, the relentlessly hard working band is undoubtedly destined for further success in the months to come.

Sienna Skies will return to New Zealand for their third visit during February and March 2013 in support of The Constant Climb to showcase their finely polished and extremely dynamic live performance that sets them apart from countless peers in associated genre circles.

Direct support will be provided to the headliners from Auckland city's Advocates.

Having recently announced their signing with UK label Ghost Music and a national booking deal with The Blackout Agency, Advocates have gone from strength to strength gaining momentum and earning many new fans along the way gearing up for a hectic 2013 schedule hot off the back of their recently completed inaugural headline run across New Zealand.

Advocates pummelling brand of mosh infused metal will be a fitting complement to the more experimental and melody-laden soundscapes of Sienna Skies.

Completing the three band package are Auckland's rising stars As Colour Facdes.

Having been hard at work on their brand new debut release In Divisions , As Colour Fades have been travelling across New Zealand promoting their personal brand of melodic metalcore and making a heap of new friends along the way.

Definitely a name on the lips of many fans nationwide, this first major package support slot comes well deserved for these up and comers who since their 2009 inception have shared the stage with many international acts including: Pierce The Veil, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, The Word Alive, Of Mice and Men, Prepared Like A Bride, Northlane and many more.

Do not miss out on the opportunity to see this three band bill across five dates this February / March.
