About Rhombus: Wellington-based collective of musicians and MCs, originally formed in 2002. Refer to their sound as "a South Pacific brew of dub 'n' bass, hip-hop, soul, funk, and roots-reggae."
Their third full-length album was released in October 2008. The self-titled release features guest appearances from original Studio One DJ and singer Ranking Joe, Jamaican vocalist Junior Kelly, and Japanese MCs Piyo, Ayumu, Chikau and Kousuke. Other releases: Bass Player (2002), Future Reference (2005), Onwards (2006).
