Kyle Taylor Summer Tour
at Wine Cellar, St. Kevins Arcade, 183 Karangahape Road, Newton
Indie/Folk songwriter, Kyle Taylor will tour throughout AUS & NZ. He'll be opening his mind to new folk while sharing intimate songs & somewhat quirky tales of growing up, loving people & indulging in life that is brought before us.
Kyle Taylor play's piano - guitar and vocals, & has played countless time's alongside Australia's best; Mark Seymour (Hunters & Collectors) - James Reyne (Australian Crawl) - Josh Pyke - Jordie Lane - Carus Thompson & more.
His lyrics are heartfelt & humorous at times. They combine stories of truth, misunderstanding and belonging. His voice often has a tinge of grunge-esque but can switch from the sounds of roaring bears to the sweet sounds of rain rising into a falsetto voice. His lyrics tower above the guitar and piano, but added with a touch of reverb, the guitar and piano create an important factor for the music to breathe a life of its own.
