HOLLOW CROOKS (Samurai / Dust Audio)
Brought together by a love of all things bass music. Hollow Crooks is made up of Auckland locals Sean whittaker, Jacob Thorne and Seb Pasley. Formed in late 2011 the talented trio have already begun making there mark on the drum and bass scene with releases on Dust Audio and well respected imprint Samurai Music. Drawing influence from a wide range of the musical spectrum, the Hollow Crooks sound is highly imaginative and foward thinking with a constant emphasis on rolling funk. Hollow Crooks DJ sets are always exciting and fresh, showcasing a collection of their own productions, as well as the latest in deep and rolling dnb and what ever dubs they can manage to swindle out of the scenes heavyweights/download off Russian torrent sites. With new material already set for release in 2013, the future is looking good for the up and coming threesome.
