Fleur Jack, Katie Thompson 'The Storytellers' Tour 2012' - with Richard Raine
at Wine Cellar, St. Kevins Arcade, 183 Karangahape Road, Newton
After their successful "Tale of Two Indies" South Island tour back in May, Fleur Jack joins forces once again with Katie Thompson for the 7-date national "Story Tellers Tour"
Fleur relocated to Seattle in June and spent September/ October on her second tour of the U.S. playing shows down wild west coast (Seattle, Olympia, Portland, San Fran, LA,) and through New Mexico and Colorado.
At completion of the tour, Fleur started work on pre-production for her second CD and recorded in November at Seattle's infamous London Bridge Studios (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains).
Katie recently opened for Elton John at his only New Zealand concert and was also a nominee for Female Artist of the Year at the New Zealand Country Music Awards '12. Also back in the studio this month, Katie is working on a new EP in Christchurch with producer Greg Haver.
'The Story Tellers Tour' will be a showcase of what both Fleur and Katie have been working on with their new respective CD's.
