Music & Audio Institute New Zealand Tour 2012
at Kings Arms, 59 France Street, Newton
Best bands hit the road, a showcase of some of New Zealand’s most promising talent take to the road on the upcoming MAINZ Tour 2012 next week with free entry to all gigs.
Nine bands will tour three North Island cities performing original material across the musical spectrum with acts ranging from soul, R&B to hardcore.
Auckland based contemporary music school MAINZ (Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand) draws students from throughout the country. Its alumni are a veritable who’s who of the current music industry, from Zowie to the Naked and Famous. The 2012 graduating students comprise some of the best line-ups yet, and hit the road for the MAINZ Tour 2012.
Hardcore Fire For Glory are already tour veterans having supported multiple international tour bands, while The Mad Crept are frequent flyers on the alt rock scene in Auckland. Not to-be-missed soul R&B band La Coco Cure, led by the vocal talents of Latoia, provide a wonderful juxtaposition to the hard-edged Crocodile Death Roll. Pop bands Rubix Cube and The Class are ably supported by singer songwriters Jesse Allam, Meow He, and Samantha Jury.
All events are free entry.
MAINZ (Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand) is a faculty of Tai Poutini Polytechnic.
