Lisa Crawley & Leigh Franklin

at The Wine Cellar, St. Kevins Arcade, 183 Karangahape Road, Newton
Join two of New Zealand's singer songwriters on Thursday 29th November at the Wine Cellar for an intimate evening of beautiful music.

Lisa Crawley
From curious stints in Japanese hotels, English pubs, Danish jazz clubs, and most recently a series of performances and music video shoot in New York, Lisa has travelled the world getting by on a song, quite literally. It’s little wonder that she has been hand picked to tour in New Zealand with artists as varied as John Mayer, Jools Holland, Nathan Haines, Julia Deans and Paul Weller, scoring rave reviews wherever she pops up. Lisa is one of New Zealand’s songwriters to watch, already having won the international ‘Pacific Songwriting Competition’ and has recently been nominated for a Silver Scroll award for the catchy single “Leaving”.

Leigh Franklin
Leigh Franklin returned to New Zealand three years ago after living and performing as a solo artist in London and Australia. Since then she has written and recorded her debut album, coming soon, produced by Kiron J (London) and featuring London based vocalist Joseph Junior. The songs offer acoustic & electric landscapes, melodic bass and a tight rhythm section. The songs and stories stay with you long after the music has finished. Leigh is joined by Milan Nobilo on Electric, Kirby Malcolm on Bass, Jacko Andrews on Keys and Grahame Cope on Drums.
