About Philippa: Well-known in the underground house music scene in Auckland. Daughter of a music teacher and has Diploma in Audio Engineering. Regularly tours New Zealand. Long-standing show host on George FM. Runs Soul Productions, which specialises in Chicago-styled house music nights.
Dubby24 is resident DJ Friday's at The Supper Club from 2-6am, every 3rd Saturday of the month running the club night "Luscious" @ Red bar, plays irregularly for Gay Republic and host of Radio Ponsonby's "Acapella: The Authentic House Journey" show every Saturday from 8-10pm (NZT).
Dubby24 ha done a support set for Hed Kandi DJ, Bellatrax, held a residency at Lolabar, Pyramid Lounge and has played at the recent Top or Bottom? party, the dance tent at "Big Gay Out! 2011" plus three Phoenix dance parties in 2010. He's also played at DNA, Sponge bar, J Club, Chicane, Coherent, Trench and done a guest DJ sets on the UpFM's "Six Beats Under" "Executives Lunch With LaSonique" shows.
Dubby24 plays disco, jazz, tribal, swing, chicago, jackin' and soulful styles of underground house.
