Australian bluesman Gerry Joe Weise starting playing the guitar at age four, and by the age of 16 and 17 was playing supporting gigs for AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, The Angels, Dragon and Midnight Oil. He spend the 80s and 90s living and touring in France, Germany and Switzerland before returning to Australia in 1999.
He has released five full albums: Live In Paris (1994), A Letter To Jimi (1996), Bushman Boogie (1999), Sydney-Paris Blues (2005) and Blues Down Under (2009).
In the course of his career, he has played support for Ray Charles, B.B.King, Buddy Guy, The Yardbirds, Eric Clapton, The Scorpions, John Lee Hooker, Canned Heat, Iggy Pop & The Stooges, among many others.
